- Australian Rail Technology (ART) has completed the acquisition and integration of Trovon Australia’s operating business, establishing a dedicated Rail Services Division delivering engineering-led maintenance, overhaul and upgrade services across rolling stock sub-systems.
The same technicians, tooling, and processes continue to operate from ART’s Prestons NSW facility, ensuring immediate continuity of capability.
Rolling Stock Services
| Freight: | Passenger: |
| brake calipers, cylinders, and actuators | brake systems, including control and friction components |
| slack adjusters and brake components | door systems, including overhaul and upgrades |
| dampers and suspension components | HVAC systems, including overhaul and upgrades |
| air and pneumatic systems | air supply and compressor systems |
| bogie component overhaul and remediation | bogies and suspension overhaul and requalification |
ART’s focus remains the overhaul, remediation, and upgrade of critical sub-systems and high-wear components, delivered through repeatable, localised programs.
For high-wear components, ART introduces higher performance alternatives to address reliability, wear, and lifecycle cost across braking, pneumatic, and suspension systems, including at bogie level.
This approach improves fleet reliability, extends asset life, reduces maintenance frequency, and lowers total lifecycle cost.
The Rail Services Division applies a proven advanced engineering and re-engineering model, integrated within ART’s broader engineering, quality, and delivery framework.
