Data Loggers

A Data Logger is a tamper resistant event recorder, fitted on the train to record certain train control actions. Examples of recorded events include:

  • Train speed
  • Direction of travel
  • Date/ time
  • Driver information
  • Throttle position
  • Brake pressure
  • Horns
  • Lights

Data Loggers are designed to withstand specific temperatures, impact shock, crush forces and magnetic field interference.
